Chapter 2

Shatao had a strange dream.
He dreamt that he was being chased by a huge lobster.
The lobster was taller than him.
It brandished its giant pincers and opened its red eyes.
It emitted strange creaking noises, as if it was very excited and terrifying."Where is this place?
What is this?" Shatao opened his eyes.
The moment he opened his eyes, what he saw was nothingness.
Moreover, there was a faint layer of golden light around him.
Perhaps it was due to the fear of the unknown.
Shatao began to struggle, but only then did he realize that he couldn't control his body.
He could only lie there and stare at him."Am I not dead?
Huh?
Where's that lobster?
Didn't I get dragged to the bottom of the river?
Why am I still alive?" Shatao asked in bewilderment.
His head was filled with confusion, but suddenly his eyes narrowed, as if he had seen something incredible.Suddenly, a large black crack appeared above Shatao.
Then, a large spherical object drilled through the crack.
Shatao couldn't describe the size of the spherical object with words.
He had never seen such a colossal object before.
Although it was far away, it didn't affect Shatao's judgment of its size.Of course, people with common knowledge would know that this wasn't an ordinary ball, but a planet, a small satellite sucked in by the black hole."Hiss, this is a planet?
Where exactly is this place?" Shatao sucked in a breath of cold air.
His eyes widened in disbelief. As soon as the planet entered this empty space, countless spatial cracks spread out around the planet like spiderwebs.
The terrifying tearing force constantly wreaked havoc, and the sound of "boom boom boom" was endless.
Every crack would cause the planet to tremble.
Not long after, the planet could no longer hold on.
With a loud bang, the entire planet broke apart. This was an indescribable scene.
Countless fragments of planets shot out in all directions.
The entire scene was scorching hot, and one could see the distorted space created by the terrifying energy.
The energy waves caused by the explosion spread around with the planet as the center.
Wherever it went, space rippled and everything disappeared.Shatao didn't know why, but he had never felt hungry, and his mind had always been full.
He guessed that it might have something to do with the golden light that enveloped him.
There was no day or night, no time and space, and this kind of eternality had almost driven Shatao crazy.Shatao didn't know how long he had traveled.
He didn't know where he had been, but he didn't have the concept of time in his heart.
He only remembered that he had been wrapped in golden light and had been traveling at such a fast speed.
He remembered that he had encountered the planet's explosion several times, but he could only glance at it.
The explosion disappeared in his line of sight, which showed how fast it was.Once or twice, he ran around the explosion or was affected by the spatial cracks.
Sha Tao, who had witnessed the planet's explosion before, had thought that he would die without a doubt.
Without a doubt, he would be evaporated into ashes.
However, he never expected that this unassuming golden light would be able to protect him completely.
Every time the golden light dimmed, he would feel a warm current passing by his body, and the golden light would once again shine with divine light..After witnessing the golden light's power, Shatao was completely relieved.
He had nothing better to do than sleep.Ever since Shatao entered this strange place, he had never believed that there would be a day when he went out.
But reality proved that the heavens always liked to joke around.Shatao, who was in his dream, was awakened by a powerful light.
He had been used to seeing things bright and dark for a while, but he didn't want to wake up.
However, he twisted his fingers.
This time, he seemed to have slept for three days, so it wasn't much compared to before.
But now, there was no lack of people, so he opened his eyes.
"Uh, how did you end up being so stiff on your back?" Shatao subconsciously reached out and scratched.
Suddenly, his entire body trembled.
He was able to move.
How was this possible?Feeling the hardness under his back, Shatao suddenly had an absurd thought.
Perhaps he had 'falled'.
He extended his hand and touched the rock.
This was his first thought, and he suddenly snapped back to reality.
He stood up and looked down nervously.
What he saw was a square made of blue bricks.
Was this true?
Shatao couldn't believe what he had seen.
He actually had the chance to see land again."Oh, I'm finally out.
I have to save Ha ha ha ha ha..." Shatao was so happy that he burst into tears.
He looked like a prisoner who had escaped from prison."Something's not right.
This isn't on land." Not long after, Sha Tao awoke from his ecstasy.
The sky above him was still empty, and space cracks were still baring their fangs and brandishing their claws from time to time, and planets were still exploding."Phew!" From hope to despair, Shatao fell to the ground in frustration.
"Did I just leave the pack and enter the tiger's den?" Shatao muttered in a daze.
Thinking back to the past few years, even though his life wasn't in danger, how could anyone possibly endure such loneliness?"No, I have to think of a way to get out of here and never live this kind of life again, even if I have to die!" Thinking of this, Shatao stood up again, his eyes resolute and unyielding.
He looked around and confirmed that he was indeed still in this godforsaken place.
The edges of the square were endless voids, and this seemed to be a floating square."Eh?" Sure enough, there was no end to the road.
There was actually a stone staircase connected to each other on the other side of the square.
"Haha, as expected, there will always be a blessing after surviving a great disaster.
The ancients will not bully me," said Sha Tao excitedly as he ran over."Why is the sky so high?!" Shatao was completely speechless as soon as he arrived in front of the stone staircase.
He couldn't see the end of the staircase, and every single step had a knee-high height.
Perhaps this was the only way out.
Shatao couldn't care less about the distance.
He gritted his teeth and began to climb upwards.
The most important thing was to live."Phew!" Shatao looked behind him, sweating profusely.
He looked in front of him, and sighed in his heart.?I've been afraid for at least two hours.
I can't believe it's only this little bit.
How long will I have to crawl until then?!
However, after this period of baptism, Shatao's mind slowly began to mature.
Thus, he didn't give up.
Instead, he continued to climb.."Phew!" Shatao looked behind him, sweating profusely.
He looked in front of him and sighed in his heart.
I've been afraid for at least two hours.
I can't believe it's only this little bit.
How long will it take for me to crawl?!
However, after this period of baptism, Shatao's mind slowly began to mature, so he didn't give up.
He still struggled to climb up."Ahaha!
I have a chance to escape!" Even though he was almost exhausted, Sha Tao couldn't help but feel excited as he looked at the opportunity that was right in front of him.
It turned out that after a day and night of climbing, Sha Tao was finally close to the end, and at the end of the staircase was a huge stone door.
It was simple and dignified, intimidating."Rumble!" A series of deafening rumbles echoed out.
Shatao couldn't react for a moment, and even said that it was a thunderbolt.
But then he realized that something was amiss.
There didn't seem to be any thunder in this place.
He turned his head and looked back.
Shatao was so scared that he called out, "What's the reason?" It turned out that the stone stairs behind Shatao were falling down into the air, one step at a time, and they were growing faster and faster. What was even more terrifying was that those stone stairs were reduced to ashes in the void, without any traces.Shatao couldn't care less about resting.
As he cursed the heavens, he desperately climbed upwards.
He didn't think that his body would be tougher than the stone stairs.
Having experienced the explosion of the planets, Shatao knew that without the protection of the golden light, he wasn't much stronger than an ant. There were times when he couldn't help but sigh at the potential of a person.
Just now, he had been filled with a deathly aura.
But now, in order to survive, he was able to unleash an even greater amount of life force than usual.
As he listened to the rumbling sounds from behind him, Shatao could be said to be relying solely on his desire to live.
As he stared at the approaching stone gate, Shatao opened his mouth and knew that he would be able to escape the sea of suffering if he continued to hold on for a while longer.
As for what the other side of the door was, wasn't Shatao thinking about it right now?
Was there anything more terrifying than this damned place?!
